firstly u and ur partner will file an affidavit in court with all the agreements regarding maintenance, child custody, alimony etc. written in it. then after few days or on the same day, there will be first hearing and after six months, second hearing will be there and if both parties agree, divorce will be granted on second hearing, i.e. after 6 months.

First you and your wife have to move jointly a petition , where you both have to mention all your points on which you both are agreed (MOU) and an affidavit from both of you for mcd and filed It in the family court of your district , on first hearing that is also called first motion which is of six months , in your first hearing you will get an another date which will be atleast six Months later , on that date which is called second motion you both have to move an application with affadavit that you both still don't want to live together you need divorce , judge will permit you and issue a decree of divorce to dissolve of your marriage .
