Consumer court kerala

If the complainant has filed all paperwork, briefs, proofs, etc. for a claim against a defendant, is it a must that the complainant or his agent appears in Kerala consumer court as complainant lives out of state and choice of Kerala was due to sellers location?

The complainant has to appear before the court to depose evidence in his case.

It is a pertinent requirement and cannot be  avoided for any reason.
