No business should be conducted by ADV.

as long as you are a member of Bar council as advocate you cannot do business as advocacy is a professional work only.if  u desire to do business surrender your Bar membership. Bar membership is not like ICAI membership where under cl 13 CA is allowed to represent a client in a court but courts in case of cases examining the legality of an issue if interpretation of laws or statutes are there CAs are not permitted, by constitutional courts, and well observed in National tax tribunal issue the constitutional bench declared NTT is ultra vires constitution and just struck down NTT Act. recently.

Readers might be aware of it.

point is one area professional cannot become another area professional. that means professional need to concentrate in that particular profession only.

so any LL.B or LL.M can do legal work as a corporate lawyer that does not automatically entitle him to practice law as an advocate in a court is the principle. Concentration in law means you need to be uptodate any law , so it is always said no advocate can say i am a specialist in a particular law as such , when any client approaches him he has to take up the case and thoroughly study the matter on proper detail and fight the matter in the best possible way.

the specialization as such is not applicable in Advocacy in a particular area, so Advocate is not permitted to write advocate (property laws or customs and so on.. he should describe himself just Advocate only , nothing more as per Advocates Act.

so how can you do business if you want to be an advocate sir!

Please visit the laws that provides answer to all your academic questions, the advocate's act is very clear about this, do not expect spoon feeding for all your such petty queries.

I see many people who put Adv. over title and do some thing else not related to Adv. It seems they use then title to just show off their education , Bar Council should stop this things
