Hello sir my name is B M RAKESH KUMAR I have applied my PF but it's got rejected when I ask the reason Name is mismatch in PAN my name is B M RAKESH KUMAR but in my bank details RAKESH KUMAR B M I don't know what should I do now and one more thing I filled clime form as per my bank name

The reason given is unconvincing. You may take up the matter with higher authorities.

Submit an affidavit in support of your claim to the effect that both the names are of a single person namely you only and further indemnify the department in case of any future claim.

Police officials in person and enquire about their documentary requirement.

Affidavit may serve your purpose.

Check with EPFO ( PRO/APFC/RPFC) and it shall guide you further. If required follow correct procedure thru employer.

The EPFO shall pay as per name in its records.

Since these days it is direct credit in bank a/c you may need bank a/c as per your name in PF records.

The name of employee is per valid documents say; Matriculation Certificate................

Th name in Pan Card is per valid documents say; Matriculation Certificate................

The name of member in PF a/c shall is as per PF forms submitted by employee to employer, along with basic documents say, Matriculation Certificate.................

The question arises without your own submission how your own name is changed?

To avoid difficulties in future, correct the error wherever it is.

What is the name mentioned in your PF account?

You can approach Banker to change your name as per your PAN card and can apply.
