Addition of name

I need to add my name to our ancestral property which is currently in the name of my father and his siblings. What is the procedure to add my name and can a lawyer help me in this matter. The property is in Maharashtra.

How is that the property is ancestral? Anyhow, entry in revenue records need not constitute title as to property.

Prima facie it is a hypothetical situation/query; if your father has included "other" siblings in the ancestral property, why you have been left over?
Are you not one of the sibling of your father?
How can "other" siblings be included in ancestral property during the life time of your father?
How you are claiming your name to be included in the property?
Consult a local lawyer for proper opinion and advise, if it is true story.
