Dear sir,
I have been selected for a central govt. job. Prior to this I had worked in a private company for 3 months and was retrenched from that company for unauthorized absence for one month. After that I paid the bond amount and settled the full and final payment with the company. Now I have to fill attestation form.
Kindly suggest me shall I fill the job details in the form or not?
Please tell me if I fill this job details, will this have any negative consequences ?
And what if I dont fill these details because it was a private company ?

Hiding facts is not advisable and the facts mentioned by you are not at all detrimental.

You can make a mention. You need not give reasons for leaving the job.

Just mention the period of service with the private employer. Add the remark that you had left it for better prospects.

Thank you sir for your answers.
If I mention, will they contact the mentioned employer for verification?
But if I dont mention, is there a way they can find at their own about this?

Once a person is selected for a Central Government job, there follows only police verification and that this does not involve any verification of previous employment. The attestation form requires only bare particulars to be furnished. Don't hide your previous employment, but you need not furnish details which are not asked for.

Disclose / mention about your previous employment. It is not advisable to hide facts.

Shri P. Venu sir, are you sure that the previous employer is not contacted during the verification of attestation form?

The queriest is assured that appointing authority in Government does not inquire s into the antecedents of previous private employment.

Every information sought in the form should be clearly replied without hiding any fact.
