if i return streedhan infront of elders on stamp papers because wife is not willing for mcd under any coditions

1. can she ask for maintainance, lumpsum , property share when i go for contested divorce although i have returned everything as per her demands.

2. is my case strong or weakest how much i am safe in taking such risky steps.

2. or should i forget everything and search for new partner assuming that i am separated from claws of wife

Ans : You have done no favour by returning streedhan. First of all it should not have been with you. This itself symbolises that atmosphere was not congenial in your house where lady was not even allowed to keep her streedhan with her.

None of your other liability has extinguished.

Ans : Without facts of the case it cannot be said whether your case is weak or strong.

Ans : You are already heading for a big trouble do not open another criminal case against you.

She can stake claims law provides her and stridhan should be returned with duly acknowledged receipt containing name and weight and all relevant description of articles returned.
