I am The plaintiff in civil suit ,can i amend the cause of action para of the plaint,before the trial.

This is academic query. why you are changing cause of action. If the issue is concern regarding cause of action. You can't amend cause of action.

You are advised hereby , you can amend plaint at any time before the trial. You are required to file a petition before the court for such amendment.If court allows your request, then your have to submit a fresh copy of the amended suit .

No,you can not amend the para of cause of action.Mr Prabhakar singh has rightly opined.After amendment in CPC amendment can be made only for subsequent event.

It is premature to say that, the amendment will not be allowed . Let him file the petition before the court, it will be the discretion of the court.

Cause of action is the base of the case. No case can be filed without cause of action thus change/amendment in the cause of action paragraph shall change the entire case which is not allowed under any law hence there is no use to file such application.
