(Querist) 16 June 2014 This query is : Resolved 
We had entered a contract on oct2013 and started a construction work.after completeing the foundation they refuse to continue he work with us.square feet for the work also got changed ,they paid for that also,we supplied material for that money,Now 6 months completed after dispute and they deamnding their whole money back.what we should do.

File a complaint before Labor Inspector of the area and failing to reach any solution, file a complaint under section 15 of Payment of Wages Act before Labour-cum- Conciliation Officer of your area.

A Civil suit is also a remedy in such cases which shall definitely take a long time and shall also require stamp duty.

If what is stated is to be taken as fact, a civil suit for recovery of money on the basis of contract can be filed.
