Power of attorney for property registration

Experts Please Advice:

If the subject immovable property is located in Dehradun & POA holder's residential address is in Delhi.

Can the Adjudication of POA be done in Delhi so it can be used in Dehradun.

"Adjudication" of POA is required for overseas POA makers only. It is not required if the same executed in the territorial limits of India.

Mr Devajyoti,
The POA is made by NRI, notarized & Attested by the Indian Consulate.

In that case can the POA holder Adjudicate it where he resides or does it have to be done where the property is located.

Ok so if the POA is adjudicated in Delhi, then it will be acceptable in Dehradun sub-registrar.

The POA can be adjudicated at Dehradun. That will be the proper procedure.
