This is a land mark judgment. Though it is late but it has its own value and also a needed judgment.

Happenings in the society cant be solved by closing the eyes that issue does not exist. A way should be found to solve the problem. More controls bring more violators and only aggravates the issue.

Of course, every person has right to live with dignity including transgenders. Its high time to change mind set and accept them as they are without any social stigma.

It is true that in the absence of law recognizing transgender, there is no fair chance for them to avail the right guaranteed under the Constitution of India such as equal opportunities in education and employment. Since the third gender has been recognized by way of Judge made Law, which become the law of the land, definitely, it is a beginning of new social progress.
