Respected Lawyers,
I the undersigned Kavitha Vallur residing at Hyderabad, have attached a khata extract of my grandmother's property which is at Bangalore. As per BBMP records they have given me the extract from 2006 which bears my mother's name on it. The officials at BBMP are demanding huge bribes to give the information prior to 2006.
Need help on the following:
1. BBMP officials say that there are no records prior to 2006 for the attached property survey number.
2. My grandmother had given a will prior to her death in 1995 stating that my mother has powers to live in the house and later it can be shared between grandchildren. The officials say that they cannot find a will copy and also there is no booklet in the municipal records.
3. My local lawyer has suggested to file an RTI for which i Am not sure on how to do it.
Would request any lawyer from Bangalore to kindly respond back to me as soon as possible.
