We live in an apartment building in Calcutta. The building has seven flat owners. Some are owned jointly. We own two flats jointly (first owner and second interchanging)
1. As far as we know, only the first owner (in a joint ownership) has the right to be a member of the association. But some of the owners insist that their spouses (2nd owner) also has the right to be members and have a vote.
2. Also, as far as we know, your requires a minimum of 7 members to form an association.
Would be obliged if you could clarify on these two points
