What can i do?

Gentlemen, Greetings! A new kid on the block, here... seeking some legal advice...

Issue:

Two FIRs has been filed against my wife (including her mother & brothers) by her sister-in-law. My wife has been nicknamed "A4". Sections 498 (FIR 1), 398 & 420 (FIR 2) have been applied.

My wife's brother and his wife (who filed the case) stay alone and not with their family (my in-laws separated them because of troublesome daughter-in-law).

My wife hardly visits her mother but never her brother. We stay in a joint family (along with my parents & brothers & their wives). Needless to say, my wife's being unnecessarily dragged into this.

Now, police made a surprise visit to home and arrested my wife (who's also carrying) and produced her in the court. I just could do nothing. A bail was granted (in a case related to FIR 1).

-----------------

What is the easiest way out for my wife in these cases?

I want to take some legal action against my wife's sister-in-law for unnecessarily dragging my wife into this? Can I take some?

Should I again apply for an anticipatory bail for second FIR?

Please advise.

An angered husband!

---------------------------------

I just read that there is no penalty or fine for filing a false case... is it true?
