Way to forgiveness??

Accused have been sentenced under IPC 325 after a long legal procedure. And now after district court order they are apologizing, before that they were confident that nothing will happen to them. Although, I believe in forget and forgive but they are not trustworthy and its too late. My questions are:

If I want to forgive them, what should be the proper procedure?  Given the fact they reliable people. Is there some legal way to pardon them conditionally? I am in dilemma that let it go or forgive them. Please enlighten me.

There are some acts which can not be forgiven and even if you forgive also the scar will be there in your heart but the act of fiorgiveness is a divine act so better forgive.
