want to kniw about 498section.

I am a doctor.my husband desserted me just after 5 months of wedding as i dint agree to stay in her sister home. even she as not gone to her husband home. my mother in law is very dominant lady, just for this reason she brain washed my husband and asked him to leave me. it's been one year and now I got divorce notice reason is i deserted him. I too much hurted of this ,n give them punishment, but how??? they r rich people n can take care back. way if I put 498 case on them. after roaming to court for this case for long years they LL bend n make separate home for us.?? PL guide me. as i am a doctor i can't claim maintainence or money from them??
