Dear Sir,
I have booked a duplex(under construction) in a project in Bhopal ,Madhya Pradesh .In the Agreement with the builder ,they have asked to pay me the VAT along with service tax . Please let me know the rules on VAT which are applicale on purchase of duplex under construction.Whether I am liable to pay the VAT on such purchase .Please also specify the percent of VAT applicable.
