Value of stamp paper for sale agreement

Dear All,

I want to purchase a land at kolkata for that first I need to execute a Sale agreement with the parties & then we will go for Sale Deed.

Please confirm can I do the sale agreement on Rs.10 Stamp Paper or I need Rs.100 value Stamp Paper?

It is valid if it is registere by remitting the required fee prescribed.

There is a fix stamp Duty for each Article set by the Government for each State. For ex: the value of Sale Agreement stamp paper in Delhi is Rs. 50/- So you need to re confirm from the authorised stamp vendor of your state about the stamp paper price. Regards, www.edrafter.in 7836993369
