Unable to manage full emi payment of pl, but making part payment every month

Please note I have taken a PL from bank. and was paying perfectly. but since last few months due to my dad and wifes illness and hospitalization could not managed to make full payment of EMI but made part payment every month. requested bank to rescheduled the EMI with lower value and longer time. but bank did not helped rather pressurizing like any thing. please suggest.
