Dear Learned friends,
An acquaintances of mine had taken my DSLR camera worth 35,000 INR with the lens promising to return in 6 days. He reported that it has been stolen away after 12 days, and he promised to return me either the good or the amount in full. But since then he is making false promises and keeps extending dates, it has already been 2 months now. He is nowhere to be found and contacts only through calls. I wish to file a case against him for the loss of camera, cost incured while trying to contact him and mental stress that I am going through. I am very naive in legal cases. Please enlighten me with your valuable suggestions.
