Transferring property

Hi,

I have brought a property on my Fathers name (I was not in India so the property has been registered on my fathers name with my money).

What is the legal way of getting the property transferred to my name? Does a gift deed from my father to me is legal and cannot have any legal complications in the future with other siblings or siblings children or siblings grand children?

I have two sisters with very good relationship, but I dont want to unnecessary legal complications in the future.

Please suggest (gift deed/sale deed) or any will that has to be written for this property. I'm okay if my father like to split his own property in to three equal shares but not this particular property which was bought with my money.

Thanks!

Gift deed is good option for you. If possible make your sister consenting witness in gift deed.

Witness is only a witness to the signature of the parties to a document.Consenting Witness is not only a witness to the signature of the parties to the document but also he is aware of the transaction by giving his formal consent for the transaction.
