Transfering ancestral property which does not have sale deed

Hi All,

We have ancesteral house in mysore (gramthana property) in which we are leaving today.  This property does not have any registered document(sale deed). We have only Katha in the name of my mother and paying all municipal taxes regularly. Now we want this property to be registered in the name of my mother (or any other family member).  My father was the only son for his parents and I have one brother and two sisters.

Pleas help me how to go forward..

Since you are all in the possession in the house, you can register on your father name by showing residential certificate from the local authorities and get the register done with the registrar of revenue department.
