Dear Sirs,
Case Fact:
1) I had bought a flat in a CHS Thane City and have been staying with my mother and family for last 10 years
2) The membership certificate has my name (manoj) as the first name (50%) and mother as the second name(50%).
3) Mother has passed away recently and has bequeathed this flat and other property to me (only CHILD, no bro or sis) in a registered will, also about 9 years back
4) Probate is not necessary for properties in Thane (outside Mumbai)
Query:
a) Is it necessary at all to get the Share Certificate amended to show 100% in my name, as I anyway am the first holder ?
b) If Yes, what documents should i submit the CHS office and what would be the financial fees (since its within the family)
