Sir. I am a custodian of surplus fund which was generated from public community function over a period of time. At that time the samaj was not registered. Now that the new samaj was formed and registered under Maharashtra Public Trust Act about 7 months back. The donations were received from public and after the function held every year from 2012 the surplus amount was held by me in my personal account. I now wish to transfer the surplus fund amounting to few lakhs to the newly registered samaj which has a bank account. I wish to know the procedure for the same.at th earliest.
