I want to know the maximum transfer fee while selling flat to other in society registered under co-operative housing services private limited. is it mandetory to take NOC from society.

Eventhough it is not mandatory to seek NOC from a cooperative society for selling a flat, the payment of transfer fee entrance fee which is Rs. 500/ per transfer and Rs 100/ per member is mandatory. In addtion the Cooperative housing societies in Maharashtra are allowed to charge tranfer premium on every tranfer to a person outside the definition of family. The transfer premium has a ceiling of Rs. 25000/ per tansfer.
