i inherited a house with 5 rooms in my village,in maharashtra.there is no registered/leave and licence/lease document,between tenants and my mother who was the original owner.tenants have been there for more than 20 years.they have not paid rent since 2006.sent them a lawyers notice last year,they got an injunction,saying they should not be evicted until due process of law.which could mean 15 years!i have tried to relocate them but they refuse.i have a lawyer,who is working at it,but i would like to know if there are any judgements passed in favor of the landlord?and details of the same.
