I have a tenant with below issues. I am a non resident Indian.
1. He has not paid rent past 5 months citing COVID
2. He created nuisance in the community, received written complaint from association.
3. He is allowing more people to stay in the property than what is agreed in the rent contract. His and her parents and one additional person.
4. He has not paid utility/maintanace for some time.
My questions are
How easy is to evict him, how long it takes considering these COVID situations. Being a NRI how can handle this without visiting India. I have a lease agreement less than 12 months and is notarised. This is expiring in Sep.
Should I wait for expiry of contract for eviction?
