Surname change in my son's date of birth

Hi This is Ramesh Here.

My father & fore fathers surname is Bollineni. But by mistake it was written as Bollina in my school and continued in college as now also it was like Bollina. I thought of changing it but It can not be changed in certificates.

Now I have son, I am planning to make his surname as Bollineni in his date of birth certificate and My name I'll make it write as B Ramesh in his DOB certificate. will it cause any issues in future???

Please let me know what kind of issues will raise in future???

THanks,

Ramesh

Change of surname is impossible in your case at this time. You would have indentify the mistake at the time of taking SSC/10 th class certificate. You son surname also will be continue as Bollina, no other way. If you want to contest in this regard, you have to show the correct evidence of Bollineni as a surname

If I get the DOB certificate for my son surname as Bollineni. What Kind of problems my son or me will get in future??? When my surname was wrong in records, nothing happened till now?? I wanna make the same mistake to correct the mistake already happened in my case?

I dont think there will be any problem in your son's name being in the name of Bolineni, it is again a name, I think you can go ahead naming your son in the way you desire it to be.
