Succession rights

Hi Sir/Madam

We are from Andhra pradesh

I want to know whether woman is eligble for share in ancestral property.

We have ancestral property which was acquired by my great grandfather and eventualy it was transferred to my grandfather, from there to my father.  My father passed in year 2001.

Now we are three children (2 female) and (1 male) to my father.  My brother is elder (1 male child)

I got married in the year May-1982.

Now the property is not partitioned after my fathers (i.e, after 2001).

Please let me whether I am legally have any rights in the share of property during partition ?

Regards,

R
