I depend on another farmer in my village to take care of lands as I live away from the place. He applied for a subsidy on 'drip irrigatioin' in my lands as a sub-let farmer. He wants a letter to recognise him as a sub-let farmer (koul farmer) to the revenue authorities. If I provide such a letter, is there any loss of rights for me on my lands ? Will he gain extra rights on the lands? Should I give such a letter or no. Kindly provide your esteemed expert opinion, sir!
