steps in "sale by auction"

Dear all, We need to know what are the steps/procedure in the "sale by auction" for a property that has been attached. the execution order for which has been passed by the court. also approx how long could it take for the sale to happen.

please advice.

also reference to any site that will give me the detail steps for sale by auction of property attached will be a great help.
