Stepping up of my pay as my juniors are getting more pay

i was promoted to the post of STA in April 2012 and my juniors got promoted to the post of STA in june 2012. My basic pay in Jan 2016 was Rs. 16400/- . After promortion my juniors pay was fixed at Rs. 17740/-. My basic pay fixed in 7th CPC atr Rs. 43600/- in july 2016 and their basic pay was fixed at Rs. 46200/- . can my pay should be stepped up equal to the pay of my junoirs.
