Hi friends,
My father has transferred a flat on my name by means of a sale deed in year 2007.
We had a proposed Housing society at that point of time. (the socitey was not formed). The Society was formally registered in 2008-2009.
As this is a transaction between father and son (deemed to be a transfer within family), should I pay the transfer fee and registeration fee to the society?
Is the society's demand justified as the society was registered post the transaction.
