Society harassing me for parking near meter room

I recently parked my car just outside society's meter room. Though it is not blocked completely. Nobody will have difficultly entering it. I got the parking allotted by the builder(though i have yet to receive allotment letter) purely on trust of words. But now other society members are taking objection and harassing my father by threatening and using foul language and using language of physical assaulting. My question is whether it is illegal to park outside meter room? Our society is short of parkings because many park 2-3 vehicles and there are visitor parkings. I just parked my 1 car and people do not allow me. Pls guide me how to tackle this situation? I even sent a legal notice to society MC but they said they cannot do anything related to parking because conveyance has not been done. Though they charged Rs. 100/- per day for 2months to me for parking my car in visitor parking.
