Social service

Sir we are a team of 15 people who are completely committed to work for the social cause. currently we all work for different organisations as a part time work. right now we are planning to have a specific focus group and we are planning to work with orphanages to support unfortunate kids. is there something we should do to register ourselves as a social service organisation. because we dont want to be annonymous we want to have a name registered on the team so that we can carry forward the work in the forth coming years. what are the documentation process involved?  what are the qualifications for the team that is involved? how do we get ourselves registered??

For registering an NGO there are three ways: (1) Under Soceity Registration Act, minimum required members are 7, approximately expenditure will be around 20,000/- to 25,000/-.  (2) Under Trust Act, mInimum required members are two, aproximately expenditure wil be around 6,000/- to 10,000/- (3) Under Companies Act (Non commercial)  should be registered under Registrar of Companies.
