Thomas Mathai (secretary)     11 June 2013

Seepage / leakage

Dear Sir,

With not much of help my mother wished to issue notice letter to my society.

Kindly advice. appreciate your help.

To the secretary

Galasy clasic hsg soc

Mumbai

This is in reference to you letter dated 3rd Sep 2011 on the captioned subject. On receipt of this letter my son along with my husband, our society plumber & Chairman of the society had investigated / inspected the areas below my Flat where you have claimed the leakage is present. Post inspection both the Plumber & chairman confirmed that there is absolutely no leakage / seepage from my Flat # C-102.

The chairman also assured us that he would inform this reporting to the concerned committee members viz Mr. Kumar & the Secretary who had initiated this survey & would consider the matter closed in respect to the letter falsely issued to me. I had also kept Mr. Kumar in the loop on these inspections done by the plumber & our Chairman. He was however not happy convinced & doubted our Chairman’s ability & efficiency stating that he has no clue on these civil job / problems our society is facing. I politely declined to comment & informed him that I would have taken care of the problem had it been a genuine problem / seepage & requested him to please close the matter as letter & complaint was falsely addressed to me.

I was not surprised when I received another letter from my Society Secretary on 31st March 2013 for the same problem mentioned above. Once again as a sensible concerned member April 1st week my husband along with our Society plumber immediately inspected these areas once again in the 1st week of April 2013 to ascertain the problem if any & again was assured by our Plumber that there is no seepage & leakage from any areas of my Flat below. We also requested the Plumber to please submit his report or inform the society secretary & Mr. Kumar once again on his findings.

I now request the concerned society committee member to please explain why these false repetitive  complaints / letters were issued to me in spite of the assurance given by the Society / Chairman & the Plumber. I also insist an apology & a confirmation letter from the Society Secretary or the concerned person for my records.

Appreciate your co-operation, support and understanding & I sincerely request you to close this matter thru a written communicae assurance & trust you may not compel me to escalate & take legal action against the society for mental harassments us both senior citizens who are residing in the said flat C – 102.
