As per your query, let me inform you that in a significant order, the Bombay high court has clarified that an offence of assault using dangerous weapons, under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code, by dangerous weapons is still bailable despite a 2005 amendment to make it a non-bailable offence.

A Station Bail means that the detained person can be released from the police station after he/she has been duly been charged. This means that the person detained is not eligible to go home until the court hearing. In order to attain a station bail, the person applying for bail needs to comply with the conditions imposed by them (police officials). It gets done by filling a bail bond for bail from the station.
