Room purchased

Hi Friends,

My father had purchased one room in Mumbai in 2003 Year and that time my father had allocated  that room to me by making direct agreement between seller and me at that time I was only 15 year old .

Now same  room  is going  for redevelopment under the scheme SRA .

For SRA scheme you need to show any evidence(Like electricy bill,Ration card, election card presenting same address) which shows that given room is available prior to 1995 and current month electricity bill and pan card etc.

I have all old evidence (1995)which was provided by seller and current month electricity bill and pan card etc.So there is no problem with the evidence

But when builder had checked my document he said everything is fine but how you can be owner of room in 2003 if your age was under 18.

Is it like that No one can buy any room if his age was under 18 ..???

What to do in such case, any affidavit or etc can do..

Please suggest.

Also can someone please let me know lawyer who are dealing with Such SRA scheme in Mumbai.

A guardian can purchase property on minor's behalf if it is for minor's benefit. Otherwise a minor can not purchase property, AFAIK.
