Road widening compensation

Hi,

We have our house in Rourkela, Orissa near to NH 23. The government is conducting a road widening exercise and a portion of our house will be brought down and road will be constructed there.

Since our whole house is not coming down, the authorities are saying they will pay the compensation for the area that is damaged. So here are my questions

1. Will the compensation paid for the entire house or the portion of the house they are bringing down ?

2. What will be the compensation amount ? Is it certain factor of the Market Value of the house ?

Kindly answer to the above queries.

Hi Sir,

Thank You. Can you please let me know how the market price of the house will be calculated.Will the authorities take the prevailing per square feet price in our area or any other method will be use to determine the price.
