Can a society formed under Haryana Cooperative Societies Act, 1984 restrict the right of it's members to tranfer their units to a non member ?

It may depend upon the class of the society and the nature of the interest sought to be transferred in case of a housing society the society is the owner of the property and the occupiers are the tenents of the proerty subject to equities in their favor. One cannot hold the rights resambling ownership unless he is admitted as a member of the society.
