regularisation of contract employment in government department

A contractual employee remains as a contractual employee.  For securing Government employment, the process is always through competition, notification, exams and interview alone.  Please do not expect that Govt will regularize your employment and it is not possible under present law.

If all such is done in the process for recruiting a regular employee as per notification, the contract employee status does never arise.  If the notification advertisement is for regular employees informing such designation, post, scale, qualification the employee is deemed a regular employee after selection and after probation if any. The appointment order states designation, scale, commencement of service etc.
