regarding to land GPA

sir,
my father purchased a plot from a GPA holder and it registration had done with government stamp duty but after 20 years we got to know that GPA holder got some issue with his GPA owner and owner revoked the GPA,
so, now what is the situation of us but we purchased when GPA is in force and from last 20 years plot was under our possession.

Sir, Is the said GPA has been registered. The said GPA should expressly authorise/ empower/ confer power or authority on said GPA holder regarding the nature of alienation of property mentioned in said GPA. As posseasion is regarded as 9 points in law, you need not worry if you are a bonafide purchaser. Please provide me a copy of said GPA and your documents for better appreciation of facts and rendering of concrete legal opinion.
