Sir,
I want some guidelines about marriage that if i marry a Hindu girl from a ST family as i belong a Christian family what all are the procedure i have to follow legally, and what will happen to the caste portion of mine and hers after the marriage and property if any by both the sides (Mine and Hers/ ST and OBC)

legally thinking custom in india is that once a girl marries a boy of a particular community, she becomes a member of that family and follows all the rituals of that particular community.Whether the caste and creed system is good or bad
here once she marries you her surname will change and even then she wants to follow her caste she can

Sir,
Is there any particular law regarding this if so what is the law number and where can i find it.
I would also like to add that what will happen to the property owned by the ST Girl after marriage with a
OBC boy laws please where it is mentioned.
