rectification deed executant not cooperating

Ancestral property - after my father demise property is legally owned by my mother, my brother and me. In 2010 my brother executed a release deed along with some other properties. Past few months age we came to know that, in a release deed executed by my brother one property descripttion is completely wrong. It matches only survey number and boundries. Extent doesn't match. Ward number, block number and Road doesn't match. After making many request for rectification deed, my brother avoid to co-operate.
My queries
1. Is the property legally owned by my mother and me.
2. Better alternative for my brother rectification.
3. Can I mortgage the property.
Thanks in advance.

If either party has found an error in the rectification deed, You will have to make an appearance in the sub-registrar's office, where the deed was previously registered. U will have to submit an application to the official, seeking correction in the document, along with all the supporting documents.
