Me and couple of my friends purchased a property 10fts in widdth each, the registration was done for 10fts each respectively. We mutually agreed to leave 1ft each and make our each share to 9fts. And leave 8fts for stair case as common space for everyone to use.
Now my share is at the corner where stair case are proposed. On the face of it the stair case are to be constructed on 8fts from my 10fts share leaving me with 2fts property. But our mutual understanding is that each one will contribute 1ft from his 10fts share and new demarcation will be at 9fts for each.
How to get this understanding on paper and make it legalized so that each one will have undisputed 9fts share. And how to get this records updated with the registrar. So that whenever anyone is selling his share can sell only 9fts.
