Record in civil court

I had borrowed education loan from SBI in the year 2005; however due to some financial crisis I could not repay in timely manner. Before couple of years I have repaid entire loan amount including interest & got no dues certificate.But, during my background verification in one company they found court record with my name. Could someone please let me know what needs to be done to remove this record ?
