property on mother's name


I AM AN NRI RESIDING ABROAD.I HAVE A PROPERTY IN BANGALORE IN NAGAWAR AREA ABOUT 1250SQ.FEET WHICH IS IN MY MOTHER'S NAME.THIS PROPERTY WAS BOUGHT IN MARCH 1994.ALL THE MONEY WHICH WAS USED FOR BUYING THIS PROPERTY WAS SENT BY ME FOR WHICH I HAVE BANK STATEMENTS IN INDIA,AS WELL AS RECEIPTS OF MONEY TRANSFER FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES DURING THAT PERIOD.IN FACT I HAVE RECEIPTS MORE THAN TREBLE OF THE PROPERTY'S PURCHASE VALUE ON STAMP PAPER WITH DATES ETC. MATCHING VERY MUCH OF ADVANCE PAYMENTS AND REGISTRATION TIME.MY MOTHER IS RELUCTANT TO GIVE ME MY PROPERTY BECAUSE OF MY TWO YOUNGER BROTHERS WHO WRE STILL IN SCHOOL AND COLLLEGE AT THE TIME OF PROPERTY BEING BOUGHT.HOWEVER MY FATHER WAS NOT INVOLVED IN BUYING THIS PROPERTY AND NEITHER HE HAD ANY BANK ACCOUNT.MY MOTHER HAS BANK ACCOUNT AND I HAVE THE RECEIPTS OF MONEY TRANSFERRED TO THIS ACCOUNT AT THE TIME OF BUYING.I ARRIVED IN MAY TWO MONTHS AFTER THIS PROPERTY WAS BOUGHT AND WAS SURPRISED TO
KNOW THAT THIS WAS IN HER NAME.PLEASE REPLY.

Mr.Khasim, 

First one thing, these are all within your family, one thing you have to confirm did  you give any power of attorney to you mother? instead of buying in your name whether she bought in her name that is the fact known to you only. then if your mother is still alive now you can get settlement deed or gift because of within family easier for you, finally you can proove all these facts by way of statements and money transfers that the property belongs to you... in case of any dispute arise from your brothers, in your case your stand is reasonable and valid.
