Laws applicable for compliance at an it companies

Dear Experts / Members

Please suggest the areas of Law for Compliance at an Information Technology Company.

As per my view the following are covered :

Information Technology Act 2000

Indian Penal Code

Intellectual Property Laws

Credit Information Companies regulation Act 2005

Please suggest me if any more are to be included for an IT Company in Kolkata.

I shall await your valuable views on this.

Dear Rajesh

applicability of the laws on any company depaned upon the following factors irrespeective of type of its business:

1) the type of organisation i.e. private company or public company further listed or unlisted

2) type of transactions entered into e.g. import, export, technical colloboration etc.

therefore the application of law differ accordingly.

which kind of IT company?? Information technology is very big word which includes different subjects.. one can suggest it only after complete detail of nathre of business... some basic laws are labour laws, contract act, companies act, IPR laws, corporate laws... etc...
