i own an enterprise , The road to my company is a punchayat road tarred by punchayat . it was a narrow road some 20 years before and we puchased some land from the the adjecent land owner and widdened it , made it suitable for transportation , then it was not punchayat road . but some 6 years before punchayat took over the road and tarred it . it has a compund wall actually constructed by us at the time of land purchase from the adjecent land owner . he was well payed for the amount of land he provided at that time . but now he tries to make encrochment towards the road and harasses us to pay more for the land he given 20 years prior to stop the encrochment . he has allready destroyed a part of the compound wall (though his,but constructed by us ) seperating the panchayat road and his property as a part of encrochment .
what shall i do legally to save the road . the thing is that 20 years before , the time of road widening we didnot ontained any document from the land owner because the land he was providing was for a public cause rather than that for our private use
what can i do leagly to save the road .
