I am planning to deal with a company in business. As per the company rule I have to give them 2 cheques for security purpose.
Can I give the cheques to the company and write on the reverse of the cheque "SECURITY PURPOSE, NOT FOR TRADE".
In other words I wish to know that anything written on the reverse of a Cheque is valid in the court of law.

Just writting on the back will not be suffcient if cheque is bounced so you have a supporting agreement for terms.
